Once a year you had the opportunity for everyone in the family to learn, explore, eat & shop at Taste of Peru DC ALL IN ONE DAY!

Months ahead we planned to launch new jewelry designs as well as our new stone collection, to the largest Peruvian event in Washington DC. It would be a great opportunity to get feedback and see if people would like it or not.

Residents from all over the DC metro area, came to experience culinary classes, cultural dances, and to shop at the market place; They experienced ALL that in one place, at the University of DC on Connecticut Ave.

Every year we have been part of the Market Place and every year we meet new customers or seen those coming back not only to shop, to say HI, or simply have a picture with our georgeous models.

We also had the opportunity to meet famous Peruvian chefs who make food lovers fall in love with their expertise in Peruvian Cuisine.

You have many reason to come to Taste of Peru DC. if you didn’t make it this year, make sure you plan on it next year.

Come with  your friends or come with all your family;)

Hasta la próxima!

A few months ago I was invited to be part of “RUNWAY TO PERU” event produced by ADOT Productions in collaboration with some of the best Peruvian designers, we will join forces in a one night event to benefit www.hojanueva.org

The fashion show was held at the popular METROPOLIS of Seattle – Washington, and brought some ofScreen Shot 2016-05-24 at 5.00.05 PM the most notable fashionistas, art lovers and supporters, whom where blown away by the production of the show and the creativity put on the runway from designers like Augusto Manzanares, Jose Zafra, Privat Collection, Las Polleras de Agus, (ME) Evelyn Brooks Designs.

Through tickets sold, a silent auction program, and money donated from sales done through the art market, Fashion for Conservation – Runway to Peru benefiting Hoja Nueva was able to raise over 15K dollars that will be used for different programs in the Amazons of Peru.

Part of our business mission is to help communities in need, even more so when is about saving our Peruvian Amazons. I have seen first hand that education is a big problem in communities that are isolated, where in small towns there is only one school house that has students from different ages under one roof.
How could they really benefit? ParIMG_5304t of the money donated will help to buy educational materials that will advance kids knowledge in the fields of math, language, sciences and environment. This was one of the programs that touched me, as a mompreneur I can’t imagine my kids receiving or being limited to educational material or education in general.

There are many other projects that Hoja Nueva is committed to; and that you could take part in helping SAVE our Peruvian Amazons.

It was a HUGE honor to meet these wonderful designers, producers and supporters,  designers who came all the way from Peru to be part of Fashion for Conservation – Runway to Peru in Seattle. I wish you ALL much LUCK & SUCCESS!

Looking forward to working with you again!

Hasta la próxima!
