Becoming a better business blogger Becoming a better business blogger
The past weeks I have been immersed researching about how to become a better business blogger.
As in anything in life becoming a blogger, business blogger, fashion blogger, social mom, mompreneur, etc, etc…it isn’t easy and it takes a lot of time, dedication and perseverance. Now remember that blogging doesn’t end just in writing a blog post and that is it. You need edit it, add pictures, tags, videos, as well as you need to promote it, you need to know how to engage with people through your blog. You need to find your niche, ultimately find your voice but a gently voice that people can actually read and be interested in what you are sharing.
All this won’t happened overnight and this is why I started my own research. After years we are still learning and we will continue learning. I wanted to give new face, new look to my blog.
Also through out my research I remember about my bloggers friends like Marisol Flamenco (www.mariestilo), Jannice Wallace (www.thecapitalfashionista), bloggers I met through conferences like (www.vivafifty) & George Torres (www.sofritoforyoursoul.com), bloggers I found in my own neighborhood like my now chilean friend Maria Jose Ollave (www.verybusymamablog.com) among others.

As I mentioned before, I was also looking for inspiration about how I can improve the look of my blog, how vlogging is so important nowadays and how important is to grow your blog through social media.
Remember this:
1. WHAT ARE YOU WRITING ABOUT ?
– Lifestyle & Family
– Business & Marketing
– DYI
– Fashion & Styling
– Technology…etc, etc
2. – CONCENTRATE
Yes, make blogging a habit, make sure no one is around to interrupt you, close all your windows that will distract you from your computer & simply CONCENTRATE.
3. – WRITE WITH PASSION
Write everything you want to say with passion and don’t think about all those edit mistakes. Leave that for later, or the end. Make sure your blog is at least 500 words long.
4. – SHARE YOUR BLOG
Through all social media platforms, also have guest bloggers to your blog and create a community that will grow & learn through your blog.
5. – WANT MORE…?
Make your blog attractive, readable, engaging and useful
There are different communities out there that can help you become a better blogger. I have read useful blog kits that you can purchase through bloggers babe (www.bloggersbabe.com), Latina Bloggers Connect (www.latinabloggersconnect) has great useful content that you can benefit from, you can also check out Latina Mom Bloggers (www.latinamombloggers.com) , Blog by Latinas (www.blogbylatinas.com)

Ultimately you will be surprised as of how many people can be reading your blog. We were recently approach by http://www.socialmoms.com and invited to join a campaign of Huggies sold exclusively at Walmart using the hashtag #ultrahug and following some guidelines.
I am happy to see that after all those years, we have people many people reading our TWO WORLDS ONE CHICA BLOG, it has potential, great content and I think we are able to engage with our community. That is what I ultimately want to do; connect/inspire other women who come to this country with a dream under their arms, perhaps to start a new family or start a business, you need to be sure that you can do it, you can enjoy your family and also enjoy the beauty of having your own business.
