Jewelry Classes

Award-winning jewelry designer Evelyn Brooks shares her ideas, thoughts and experiences through her unique jewelry classes. In class, you will learn about different types of jewelry (necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings, among other pieces), designs and the materials used to make them.

• Make a bracelet on Stretch Magic©, a necklace using flexwire and crimps and a basic dangle earring. Walk away with three great pieces and the basic skills to make many more!
• Learn to design and make several styles of earrings. Begin with a simple earring and learn how to make a variety of designs, including a chandelier. Take home instructions for many other designs. Good for beginners.
• Receive information about different jewelry websites for design ideas, where to buy supplies, lists of local trade shows to buy wholesale materials and much more.
• Learn about wire gauges, clasps, findings and the correct terminology for common supplies used in the jewelry industry.

We will share inspirational ideas for our jewelry designs and by the end of our session you will go home with a beautiful and meaningful jewelry set made by you. It is more than a jewelry class. It is an inspirational and therapeutic way to bring out all your creative senses while creating beautiful jewelry pieces!
