Red is not only making a statement in clothing this fall — the fashion world is also embracing the idea of pops of red by using beauty tricks and accessories.

Red pouts were on most models at the New York Fashion Week. Marc Jacobs really emphasized the daring beauty trend with red skirts, shoes and bags.

Even though warm reds and burgundies were prevalent on the runways, many designers stuck to the tried-and-true cool winter palettes of greys, beiges and sepias, which can be played up with fun red accessories.

And while some designers were embracing the cooler temps of fall and winter with longer layers and coats, there seems to be a bit of a yearning for summer with chunky tribal bracelets and statement-making necklaces and earrings.
