Let me share with you an inside on how the jewelry business runs during the years different seasons; especially for small business owners like myself.

Most of us (jewelry designers) will agree that our highest season of the year starts in September and runs through December. Then it slows down and you will be surprised at how good it could get prior to Valentines day, then after that day again slow times happen until April 15th when those organize conscious shoppers start thinking about Mother’s day and start their shopping; then comes Father’s day, then summer has arrived, and the summer festivals are a great place to showcase your hand-made products and get some sales during summer time; Summer ends, we go back again to September and the cycle starts again.

This year it isn’t different for us, we have applied to many art shows during the high season, perhaps the only thing different is that we will try to get to more cities like Dallas Tx and New York, and I will share details about our presentations;)

It is also our high season getting wholesale orders, most of the galleries boutiques do their wholesale buying during July, August & September so here at the Evelyn Brooks studio we are working on delivering orders in time for the holidays.
